Kidney failure diagnosis in 2001 caused by medicine from a different health issue.

My name is Joshua and I am 30 years old and awaiting my second kidney transplant. I got my first transplant in 2002 and it lasted for nearly 10 yrs. My mom was my donor. It failed in 2011 when I had some stomach issues, lost weight, was in and out of the hospital and had a low blood count, etc. In October I woke up and had trouble breathing and ended up in the ER and got intubated and they started me on hemodialysis again and I woke up 3 days later in the ICU. I was doing in center dialysis until I started Peritoneal Dialysis (PD) in January. They were night treatments that last 11 hours each day.

I did PD until October of 2017. I am currently doing hemodialysis 3 times a week for 3 and a half hours. I had to get my transplant kidney out due to a benign tumor. It was quite a surgery.

I need some help finding a donor. I have tried literally everything. I am O positive however anybody can help through the pair kidney exchange program. I am currently listed at Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, Arizona. I need help to find the right donor. It only takes one.

Kidney failure and dialysis are very difficult things to overcome. I am definitely afraid of dying at such a young age. My life has changed so much with the little amount of freedom I have to live a normal life.
